My name is Vanessa Skinner, I live in beautiful southern Nevada, in a valley known for its purple mountains and natural artisan wells. With my husband, children and animals we choose to live a holistic lifestyle, child led learning, gardening and natural birth. I've been involved in the homebirth community for 25 yrs. In that time, I have birthed my 9 babies all at home, while simultaneously assisting and supporting over 150 home births, hospital, C-sections, unassisted and countless families on this journey.  The world of birth has been an exceptional blessing in my life. Giving me opportunities to travel to Haiti for birth mission work. Travel to Mexico and spend time with the Mayan Parteras. Giving me a community of like-minded friends along the way.
