My name is Vanessa Skinner, I live in beautiful southern Nevada, in a valley known for its purple mountains and natural artisan wells. With my husband, children and animals we choose to live a holistic lifestyle, child led learning, gardening and natural birth. We have a small kombucha business @spiritualearthfoods and live in our desert cottage and small birth studio @spiritual_birth_keeper. I've been involved in the homebirth community for 25 yrs. I find the captivating world of birth to be so mysterious, magical, miraculous, horrifying and above all celestial. In that time, I have birthed my 9 babies all at home, while simultaneously assisting and supporting over 100 home births, hospital, C-sections, freebirths and countless families on this journey. The world of birth has been an exceptional blessing in my life. Giving me opportunities to travel to Haiti for birth mission work. Travel to Mexico and spend time with the Mayan Midwives, Parteras. I am here to make sure you can experience the best birth possible. Education and information is everywhere and it can be so overwhelming. If you are local to me. Please join our monthly Postpartum Mothers Circle. Much to what we believe to be true is not true at all. In these circles, a safe space is offered for emotional healing and release. In ways of breathwork, voice, sound baths, and meditation. We meet the last Friday of every month at 1pm. Herbal Tea and goddess cookies provided.
